Corporate Style

So it finally happened - I went for a job interview today, was put up for consideration by an agency whom I met with last week.  They prepared me within an inch of my life and really, even though the interview went for 2 hours it was really relaxed yet informative.  I ended up meeting with 4 staff there.  At this stage it is a waiting game, apparently they are interviewing another person but they do want to set up a 2nd interview for me with the COO which I see as a good thing.

The job is Admin Assistant in a Hedge Fund that focuses on Digital, Media, Entertainment, Sport and lifestyle clients - actually sounded innovative and interesting!  These are big $$$$ companies.

The office is in uptown just above times square and the view is amazing - 39th floor.  I was in a meeting room and had to use all my might to keep my gaze with the interviewer.

The process takes a long time here in NYC so it seems - it could be up to 3 weeks before this 2nd interview and still then no guarantee.  Luckily I have 2 interview shirts and a black suit is a black suit so that can be be brought out a 2nd time around.

I am OK with this as really I need a little more R& R time and if this job does not happen I will then just try for another.  At least I have made the first step and was really pleased to get an interview so quickly.
