Last minute bliss

While exploring the Lincoln Square area I stumbled across the Lincoln Plaza Cinema and as the weather was revolting I thought I could do with a few hours in a dry air-conditioned room with a comfy seat.

I read this poster and thought how bad could it be.... I was more than plesaed - this movie is about Diana Vreeland who was a NYC fashion icon and editor of vogue well before the likes of Anna Wintour.

It is not just about fashion, it also shows various decades of time and what people were doing, what was being worn and of course where Diana fitted into this - she also travelled a lot so show cases NYC, London and Paris throughout the centuries.

Great movie about an amazing uneducated woman who marched to her own beat and creative mind.  Well worth a watch so track it down, so glad I stumbled across it. xx
