It's official...

I have been inside all day and have cabin fever.. the worst of the storm is apparently about an hour away and the worst of it will last a few hours.  I am safely tucked up in my room with my cheap bottle of bubbly of which I am drinking in a plastic glass - all classy even in a record breaking storm.

It is windy outside and some areas have already flooded but I should be Ok - still got power so still have my TV tho each channel is now the weather channel so to speak but I am not complaining, I am a lot luckier than lots of other people who have been evacuated.

So hopefully over the next few hours the storm will do what it is here to do with least harm .......
