An excursion

Today it has been raining and grey and humid in NYC - different to the glorious days I have become used to - so what is a girl to do....

 The movies.. perfect ... went to see Pitch Perfect, stars Aussie Rebel Wilson who is very funny - worth a look and the flicks are only $13.50 here so happy as that is about what it is worth!  Being a Friday AM the cinema was not exactly full.

 Next stop was Kmart as I needed a few essentials. It is just about the end of September and Halloween is everywhere.  Kmart has rows and rows of Halloween essentials.

 Along with the decorations there is also the obligatory candy that is given out - these huge bags are around $15 and there are at least 50 different types of mixes  - Halloween candy is a serious thing here.

Good to know I can dress up as a can of coke for $39.99

To be fair I will probably choose diet coke

Or go crazy and be the crayon

 This mask is hilarious and worth every cent of the $30 price tag

 What is this you ask?

 Of course, the singing fish trophy mask... now that is Halloween!

 Something to brighten the front door.

 Now Halloween was 4 Isles which led directly into Christmas........ yes .. Christmas!

 I think my sister has already ordered the above festive characters.

So with Christmas just around the corner it is great to know I can plan early for it as all my friends know how much Christmas means to me and all the effort I go to! (sarcasm)

 Moving on to more important stuff... Kmart is like a supermarket as well and I stumbled upon the packet of delight above - finally a bag of assorted savoury delights.  I cant say I bought them as I would have eaten the whole packet but they are on my to-do list.

Does Australia have Corona Light  - I have not seen it but then I am not a beer expert  - $17 for a 12 pack.

 Cheese in a can..yes you read correctly.

 And of course all things peanut butter

 I know I keep going back to the food options but do you blame me... USA and its bad food has its place.
