Still another beautiful day weather wise in NYC - caught up with a friend for some lunch and people watching in Union Square followed by a wander through down town
This is NYC court house you may recognize it from Law and OrderThis is part of city hall where I plan on getting married some day .. sorry mum...
Th corner deli - a cute little spanish diner in an area of town called Nolita - it is a spanish deli cafe - on my list to try out..
Stumbled upon a street fair in Little Italy - once again food was the focus
Fresh Cannoli of all flavours
and Italian cakes
Best $5 I have spent all week - it was to die for and my lunch so I did not feel so guilty - they are chocolate chips in the custard - really, what else does a girl need.
My favourite food in NYC - it is fetta and spinach pie - had it once before from a street fete - just couldn't today after that cannoli but stay tuned - we will meet up again.
I know I am still talking about food but look at this BBQ - the spicy sausages and onions smelt exactly like you know they did - too good!
I actually love NYC t shirts
Next travelled down Layfayette street in SoHo which is the home to trendy vintage stores - all a little cool and pricey but worth a look for interesting pieces.
Nest stop was home where I found I had mail - my green card had arrived - it is official, I am a permanent residence of USA. I really should think about that job soon but of course I had to celebrate so off to a groovy bar down the street to cheers myself (at $15 a glass with tip one cheers was enough).
I really must think about that job soon ,,,, did I already say that?
